“Twelve year old Amir is desperate to win the local kite tournament and his loyal friend Hassan promises to help him. But neither boys can foresee the event to occur that will shatter their lives forever.

The Russians invade, Amir and the family are forced to flee to America. Amir realizes that one day he must return to Afghanistan under the Taliban rule to find the one thing that his new world cannot grant him: redemption.”

The Kite Runner Graphic Book

In the middle you will cry so much. This book made me realize that friendship can be so strong that is doesn’t matter what the other person does to you or anything but you will still be loyal.

I have to love Hassan, the way that he is so bold and doesn’t bow down to people who take what is rightfully his.

The way that he stays loyal to Amir for so long and that he never forgets him. I hate the way that he is treated. Also one of the horrible things is that this is probably all true. In fact it is based on real events and is probably true and that is what makes it have extra impact.

You can get The Kite Runner Graphic book or the proper Kite Runner novel depending on your laziness.

I would recommend this book to people who are sob story lovers and them only. Maybe also if you like sad drama but I think anyone else will find this book too morbid or too heavy.

It should be banned from young kids to read or else they will spend the rest of their days crying. Maybe over the age of 18 if you really feel like crying.
