I would recommend this book for people over the age of 13 because it does have some violence in here. I wouldn’t recommend this book for people who love animals as they might find some of the story quite grueling. People who like adventure and sob stories might like this book. Adults can read this book as well.

My Sister Jodie by Jacqueline Wilson

The ending of this book was quite unexpected and sudden, but I liked that as most books are becoming predictable. The vocabulary could have been more detailed and harder though. Moreover, at some points this book tends to blend in and become a bit repetitive for my liking.

Please Look After Mom by Kyung Sook Shin

It would also surprise you by coming up with a very soulful sentence or paragraph amidst a totally boring piece about something, like a gem. I think that this book has a great moral and a new storyline to all the others, and that is also a reason why I love this book.
